4. EMERGENCY & 24/7 SERVICES

Plumbers That Care offers 24/7 availability for certain emergency plumbing and water damage services.

Although we make reasonable efforts to respond promptly, no specific response or arrival time is guaranteed.

Response times may be affected by technician availability, distance, traffic, weather, demand, property access, hazardous conditions, emergencies already in progress, and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a condition presents an immediate threat to life or safety, including fire, a suspected major gas leak, carbon monoxide exposure, electrical hazards, or another dangerous emergency, contact the appropriate emergency authority or utility provider and leave the affected area when appropriate.

5. ESTIMATES, PRICING & AUTHORIZATION

Any prices, promotions, discounts, financing examples, or cost information displayed on this website are for general informational purposes unless expressly identified as a binding written offer.

When water damage results from a plumbing problem, Plumbers That Care may be able to address both the plumbing source and resulting water damage.

When applicable, our plumbing services may include identifying and repairing plumbing-related sources such as leaking or burst pipes, slab leaks, failed plumbing fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, drain or sewer problems, and other plumbing failures within our authorized scope of work.

Water damage mitigation services may include water extraction, moisture detection and monitoring, structural drying, dehumidification, cleaning, controlled removal of affected materials, contents protection, sewage or contaminated-water cleanup, and other appropriate mitigation procedures.

When mold or suspected microbial growth is identified, mold remediation services may be recommended and performed when appropriate and included within the authorized scope of work.

The exact services provided will depend on the conditions present and the scope authorized for the particular project.

Reconstruction

Unless expressly included in a separate written agreement, our water damage mitigation services do not include reconstruction or replacement of finish materials after mitigation is complete.

This may include replacement or rebuilding of drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, paint, and other building finishes.

Water mitigation is focused on addressing water and moisture, limiting further damage, removing affected materials when necessary, and drying the affected structure.

7. WATER DAMAGE, DRYING & MOLD CONDITIONS

Water and moisture can travel into concealed or difficult-to-access areas, including beneath flooring, behind walls, inside cabinets, insulation, ceilings, wall cavities, crawl spaces, and other building materials.

Conditions that are not visible during an initial assessment may be discovered as mitigation work progresses.

Drying times vary depending on factors including the amount and type of water involved, materials affected, duration of exposure, temperature, humidity, accessibility, building construction, and other site conditions.

Any drying timeframe discussed on this website is an estimate and not a guarantee.

Water intrusion and elevated moisture can also create conditions favorable to microbial or mold growth. No statement on this website constitutes a guarantee that mold will not develop, return, or exist in concealed, inaccessible, previously affected, or future moisture-affected areas.
